I finally got a day off today! Yay! I really needed it. I've been working for three weeks straight with no weekends off, so today was a real pleasure. Was finally able to sit down and draw.
I'd worked on this one a little bit a few weeks back, but never had the chance to finish it until now. Not sure how long it took total, since it's been a while since I started it.
Yeah, it's Kenshin. Yeah, I'm still obsessed. And no, this pic really has nothing to do with the series or manga.
The usual: Sketched and colored on Photoshop. No references.
Okay. Anyway, this picture is absolutely stunning! You did a great job on the trees, and the leaves. ^__^ Wonderful coloring job. You are great at this.
The background is amazing as well as the character! You never cease to amaze me with your ability to color/shade and to draw poses... I'm really fond of how you shaded him and the rock.

After awhile, a frigate at sea can become a male bordello.
wowwwww... gorgeousness! Although the rock kinda looks like a tree top with the green, it is still really cool. And yeah, I'm Kenshin obsessed too. Maybe one day i'll grow out of it... maybe... ^_^x

The Rurouni Kenshin Gallery... for the fans, by the fans :iconrurounikenshingaller:
Awesome - as always, I like your painted style and the moods you try to express.
The only thing I would maybe suggest is that Kenshin's outlines be blurred ever so slightly to bring out the leaves in the foreground, and yet not so much so that he appears to be further back.
Hope your schedule is easier in general too. Missing all the regular updates over at the website
This is absolutely gorgeous. I can only imagine what he's being so pensive about...especially now that he has his complete scar. *doesn't give anything away to other people*
Also, the detail in this...especially the background/foreground...is awesome. It must have taken you a lot of time!
I am in LOVE with the OVA, and also in love with this picture...therefore it gets another fave from me! Good job!
