Artist's Comments

Messing around with costume ideas again. I have no idea what the light balls are.

The usual, photoshop start to finish. No refs on this one. I'm not sure how long this took since I worked on it off and on between jobs. Wish I had time to paint more personal stuff, but this month's been kinda nutty.

Don't wish, make a portfolio and apply!

Those magazines are held in high regard for the quality of their art, but this...The stuff you have up would certainly be in the upper tier of the art they have. Seriously man, if this is really something that interests you look into it! ( Or I will for you if you're starved for time :) )

This is definitely plausible man. Seriously.

Dood...seriously like whoa. Even without having alot of time to work on it, it's amazing. It may sound odd, but I think the limited time to work on things is doing you good, because when you DO get to finsih something it's pretty damn amazing. It takes a certain level of skill to draw a picture of a character that has no previous background, no reference, no anything before this image and yet they FEEL like characters you've always known, read about, have been following their story for sometime y'know? And you really pulled that off. Especially in their juxtaposition (I think that's the right word) how he's going straight and she's stopped, looking off to the side at something else. As if his face wasn't serious enough though XD.

Oh it's just amazing, great job!

Wow, thanks! Thanks for reading this so deeply. I'm just pleased that the two of them come across as opposites. He's cold and menacing, and she's warm and vulnerable. ^_^

But argh, I want to do so many paintings, I feel like I'm going to burst! Not enough time. Bah. :(

I would like to apply someday. Soon, I hope. :)

I've been working on concept art for films, but I haven't worked up the nerve to submit to gaming companies yet since I have trouble doing action poses. I feel like I need to work on some dynamic scenes before I submit anything just yet. But thank you for the vote of confidence!
