Yet another picture of Battousai. Kicking Shinsengumi butt this time. (Wee!) Yes, I'm still horribly obsessed with RK. It's a little scary, isn't it? (My obsession, not the picture.)
This one took quite a while to do. I have a hard time drawing action scenes. The poses always look awkward or stiff, so I had to re-do them a lot.
Sketched and colored on Photoshop. It took about 15 hours total. Overall, I'm really happy with the way this came out. Although it looks kind of grainy when I saved it as a smaller jpg file this time. I'm not sure why that is. Hmmm.
Edit: I've always wanted to add a border to this and tweak the darkness a little bit. About time I did that.
WOW!!!!! this is AMAZING!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! awesome work!!!

dunno about him Drawing his blade at such wierd time, but i like what hes doing (what he had bette be doing) with his right arm. perhaps u should angle and study hands more (not so much anatomy, thats being kinda picky coming from me whose shit at that, but rather, the feel of how it should look, esp at that awkward camea angle.)
tilt /slant in the hands, increase the grip and lthe look of stress that he has on them, make it feel like he WANTS badly to finish em off and not the "oops i think ill drop this blade REAaaaly soon. damn those slippery fancy Shinjuku handles "
,,in short, he has a loose grip, on both. and the angle at which his hand is at to strike, doesnt feel strong at all. like.. a weak.. pat.
all that aside, its a beautiful piece, goes onto my desktop and the colours soothe me esp at the bewitchin hour rock on
