She's waiting for hubby to come home, heehee. Um...Not much else to say about this one.
Sorry, I tend to come up with really dumb titles.
All parts of this were sketched and colored completely on Photoshop. No references used. And I have no idea how long this one took. I did it a little bit at a time over the course of a few weeks.
Your title is certainly a lot better than all of the ones for the pretentious photographs. I think "Dagger" is the best title I've seen all day. I love the details an shading all over, but the nose could use some more work. Great job overall, I'll add this to my favorites.
Ooh, I just love her pose and the lighting! As usual, the intricate patterns on the clothes are beautifully done, and it would almost look photographic if the face and hands weren't more artisticly smeared. +fav
Hmm. I think you're right. It does look a little odd. Thanks much for the critique. I've never actually tried drawing anyone from this angle before. I'll try to do a better nose next time. Maybe if I defined that little bump over the nostril (whatever the heck that part is called) more? *stares at pic until eyes cross*
Heehee thanks. Yeah, I had some trouble with her face. I'm not sure how to do faces from this particular angle. I think I need to look at some reference photos since it'd be kind of hard to use myself and a mirror as reference in this case. :-P
To me, it looks like the shading on the tip of her nose. It almost makes her nose seem very thin. Don't let the singular flaw make you think it's anything less than amazing, since it's better than 98+% of the stuff on DeviantArt.
Kind of pinched, true.... Oh don't worry. I'm not one of those tortured souls who agonizes over every single mistake. I note it, and I move on. I'm afraid I'm terribly well-adjusted and happy for an artist. But thanks for pointing it out. I love getting good critiques.
Hnn...I don't have much experience with that angle either, so it looks fairly on target, for the most part. The main problem I see is that her ear looks a tad too plastered to her head.
