My entry for Taron's "Natives of the Lifeless Forest" Challenge at CGHub.com. Feel free to check it out if you enjoy participating in contests. There are a lot of really wonderful WIP's posted in the forums there.

The usual. Start to finish in Photoshop. I used this image by *SenshiStock as a ref for the dead guy's feet. [link] No other refs were used for the rest of the painting.

Are you gonna join? You should! There's plenty of time! I might do a second entry if I have the time for it. I love joining contests with cool themes. I almost never win, but just participating's always a blast.

the whole picture is so good :D .
it not have much detail in the detail version :P

:D , i just think , to become a master piece , it must have more about the textures , the skin , light , and everything in the 100% scale picture .
because the whole picture is control good now , than i thinks, you can push it up , just spend more time and the picture will be highlighted in every cg website .
just my thinking , don't matter if you don't wnat to draw onit anymore :D
