Well, no, I didn't really dream of dragons last night. But I thought it would make a nice title. Been wanting to do a dragon pic for a long time now. And I also wanted to do a pic using a similar color scheme to one of my older paintings ("ride").

I kept having to tilt my head when drawing the mountains. One of the rare times I really miss traditional media. It was frustrating not being able to work with this tilted at 45 degrees. :-P

The dragon's head is my favorite bit -- the eyes are so striking compared w/the rest of the piece, just wow. and that's, uhh, basically my most coherent reaction, the rest is just "galsjflajdfld wow"
