I don't usually post contest pics or pics I do for other people, but this one was so much fun, I couldn't resist. The character is Raesha (copyright Raesha aka M. Doorenbos), a grey-skinned, ragged-winged, murderously vengeful elf. How cool is that? Heh. Quite.
Done for Raesha's contest. Thanks so much to her for allowing me to post her cool character here. The usual. Drawn in Photoshop from start to finish. I used about a half dozen reference pics for the crossbow (and still couldn't get it quite right). Used myself for body reference, although I had to fudge a lot of it since I don't have that kind of physique (unfortunately). |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
