I'm not sure if this is actually a finished piece or still a sketch. But I think I'm going to leave it the way it is. Kinda messy, but I think it would look worse if I cleaned it up or fixed the lighting mistakes.
This was done on a whim. I wanted to play with brushes. I just recently started using more of them, and wow, I wish I'd done so much earlier. They're so fun! Very tempting to go overboard with them though, and I might have done that here. LOL.
Death, taking a stroll through a lush and thriving garden. I have no idea why he'd be taking a stroll. Maybe he's bored.
Unfortunately, monitor brightness settings are really going to affect how this one looks. I hope it's not too dark for you. You should barely be able to see some shading on Death's cloak.
Oh, and I'm back on my old comp. New one's got Windows troubles.
The usual. Sketched and colored on Photoshop. Took about 3 hours.
I like how death's cloak has a bit of a green tone to the shading, makes it look more at one with the garden. *goes into interpretation mode* Like it's showing how death is just part of nature, that he belongs there *end interpretation* The bushes look great and I love the lantern.

Very cool. I love the forest, the entire picture looks very mysterious. Great job ^_^

So here at the end of this day Where the world is shaded in gray I will look to the blue horizons and watch for you to come When my hope is tattered and torn When my faith is weathered and worn I'll look to the blue horizons
Very nice. I like the watercolor feel of it all. Contrast wasn't to big of an issue, but I can't see the shadow detail on deaths clock like you said there was. Oh well.

I like! I wouldn't call it messy, more gestural. It gives it a very naturalistic feel, and the composition is good. It has a nice hint of mystery to it, with the darkness and indistinct form of Thanatos just suggested by the light of the lantern.
