Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been online much at all. I'm at my parents' house, and I've been spending quality time with the family and visiting friends. I only get to see these people once a year, so I figure I'd lay off the internet for a while. Oh, and my sister finally made it home on Christmas day. The airline was going to delay her flight AGAIN (forcing her to spend Christmas day alone in a hotel!) But she said she glared at them until they let her aboard the flight they'd gotten for her. I'm so glad she did. I think it's ridiculous that they can get away with that kind of thing. Bad enough to cancel one flight like they already had.... Rrrr!
Anyway, I hope everyone's been having a lovely holiday season! And thanks to those who responded to the Christmas message I posed last week. In case I don't get online again before the 1st, Happy New Year you guys!

Have a great time, but be safe! I don't know about your town, but where I live, there are a lot of crazies out on the roads after midnight, so keep an eye out.
Anyone making any resolutions? I resolved years ago never to make any more New Years resolutions, and so far I've been successful at keeping that one. Heh. So no reslutions from me. Ever.
Oh, I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas (hee!). I don't know a thing about games, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on fun games to get? I've got Crosswords DS and Mystery Case Files Million Heir so far, and those two have been enjoyable. And my sister's going to help me set up some way to let me doodle pictures on it, but that hasn't been set up yet. Is there anything else that might be fun to try?
Seriously, I haven't played anything in about a decade. I like puzzles and word games. And I like the 2D story type games where you have to wander around finding things and figuring out clues. And I like the old style arcade games with either a side view or bird's eye view of little characters wandering through stages, shooting and jumping. (Do they even make those anymore?) I'm not so keen on 3d games. I usually find them way too confusing, especially if the screen's really busy and there's weird colorful stuff flying all over the place. I don't mind graphic violence at all, so blood's fine. But mostly, I just have trouble following what's going on if there's ammo flying all around.
My sister's a rabid gamer, and I'd normally ask her. But she likes all the kinds of games that I'm not into. And she isn't too crazy about puzzle and adventure type games. So no help from her. :-P
