Oh, Gawd, I love v6!!! That is all.
Another AX has come and gone, and I must say that this year was absolutely wonderful. Artist alley was well organized. I liked having the con in Los Angeles (because it was local for me). And I got to see many familiar faces and also met a lot of new ones. Thanks so much to those who stopped by my table, those who signed my guestbook, the very kind people who purchased art from me, cool artists I traded art with, and folks who visited the DA dealer's hall booth while I was there.
I spent the majority of time with =
s-girl, ~
Angiechan13, and ~
HelloCaity. Thanks, you three, for making this con such a marvelous experience. Breakfasts at IHOP, hunting for sushi each night, flat out Epic Searches for boba, driving through seedy parts of town, watching fireworks in the garage in Little Tokyo, watching in horrid fascination as a certain someone (who shall remain nameless) scarfed down enough Pocky to feed a small nation, prolonged giggle fests in which Angie and Caity laughed so hard they couldn't inhale, s-girl's random noises, roller coaster-like exit ramps, spontaneous Waaaaaaalll-Eeee imitations.... It was all fantastic. You guys are a blast to hang out with. Thank you for being so awesome.

I didn't really see much of the con, to be honest. Spent most of my time hanging out in Artist Alley. But that's really where I enjoy myself the most, and it was such a pleasure talking with people there. I liked the spacious hall in which we were located. And I liked the way the rows were set up. My only regret was that I didn't wander around enough, and I didn't have a chance to talk to everyone that I wanted to meet. But otherwise, it was great.
Got to see ~
jadedice, ~
fongmingyun (thanks for the Kenshin print!), ~
Summoner-Lenne, `
Wen-M, ~
gambitgurlisis (and friends), and ~
Eeni again. Always a pleasure seeing you guys, and I hope to see you again at future cons! Also saw RMA, Zero, and Dri (ever so briefly!) again. And Omasu who gave me a box of blueberry Pocky. Awesomeness. Thanks so much for the free food!
It was a pleasure meeting *
emilynguyenart and *
lychi for the first time. You guys are so nice!

~
Jupeboxgal is another person I met for the first time this year. Thank you so much for the wonderful Kenshin drawing! And thanks to ~
rivetspoon and ~
otaku-jrock for being such considerate table-neighbors. Also got to meet `
Saimain. It was great talking to you, your brother, and your friend. I do hope you can get a table next year! A pleasure meeting $
damphyr, who was nice enough to tell me what to expect for the DA booth.
I spent a little time at the DA booth in the dealer's hall. That was a little intimidating, and I admit I felt nervous. But $
Moonbeam13 was very nice to me, and we had a lovely chat. Also, I met
lolly who was wearing a really fun pirate hat, curly blue stuff in his hair, and sunglasses. I took a photo. My friends said he looked like he'd be a cool biker, and I agree! Heh. I was half expecting him to look like a scary clown. I'm glad he didn't.
I missed seeing ~
iDNAR and ~
tojisuzuhara for the first time since I've been attending AX.

It made me a little sad to miss you guys, especially since I'd seen you every year before. I know Idnar was there. Toji, were you? Hopefully, I'll get to see you next year. And *

dlin didn't make it out this year. Bah.
Hmm. I know I'm forgetting someone. Apologies to whoever it is. Where's my brain...?
Whew, this weekend went by in a blur! Thanks again to everyone who made it so much fun!
If you are (or wanted to be) an artist at AX's artist alley, please read this forum post regarding the issue artists having multiple tables in the alley. Would you prefer to see a 1 table per artist limit? Read here:

D: I didn't know there was an IHOPS nearby
IHOP was a few blocks away. I don't think it was close enough to walk to, but the con was local for me, so I had my car. :b
Yeah, unfortunately, the LA convention center doesn't have much around it within walking distance. It's the main problem, IMO. Otherwise, I actually really liked having the con in LA's convention center. It was a vast improvement over Longbeach, IMO.
Thanks! Nice meeting you too. And I hope you had a nice time at the con as well.
I did have a nice time, thank you. Will you be there next year as well? I hope so, I'm hoping to bring more friends to artist alley next year.
